These were made for an atc swap in another group. Subject: Dog days of summer. The background is matboard, stamped and sprayed with Glitz spritz(s), the image is of the constellation Sirius (which where the term dog days comes from). The image is multilayered using Golden medium gel, and the stars are marked with little press on rhinestones. Image mounted on punchinella. Didn't scan well because it is lumpy, but thought I might share here anyway.

Excellent BG stamp, BTW, thanks to your inspiration (again), I finally bought a bottle of glitz spritz, it's amazing on dark backgrounds, thanks for the tip. This whole concept is just so clever!

Love the card and the meaning it brings into my life. My girls and I are obsessed with Harry Potter. It's cool to hear Sirius (Harry's Godfather) and to see JK Rowling really did her research. Sirius transforms into a dog. My girls have learned tons of lessons listening to these stories. It's cool to see you did your own bit of research for a swap.
